Most of the Finnish honey is fairly mild multifloral honey, but also some monofloral or unifloral honey types are produced. When it comes to unifloral honey both the taste and the smell vary substantially according to the species of plant. The taste of the Finnish multifloral honey originates from a combination of 20-80 different nectar plants. The Uniquely Finnish companies produce different types of honeys such as pure unifloral honey honeys, multifloral honeys and wild flower honey and a wide range of honey products from spiced honeys to honey jam. |
