Dairy Products |
The dairy product range includes yoghurts made from fantastic domestic berries using both cow and goat milk. Real cheese bread (also available as organic), fresh cheese and traditional Ostrobothnian cheese soup. It is also possible to find feta, quark and spreads. Fantastic cooked cheese, made from goat milk as well: white mould cheese, Cheddar and cheese called "murukolojuusto". Most of the products are refined from milk from the animals on the farm in question. All products are manufactured in hygienic dairy industry facilities, which comply with EU directives. |

Mäkiaho Cheesery is a farm which produces milk. The farm has been processing milk for about 20 years. It is possible for those who are interested in processing milk to get acquainted with the farm’s activity every day from the beginning of May till the end of September, at an other time according to the contract. There is a shop at the farm where own products are sold: Mäkiahon Mehevä-oven cheese, HumuPekka –mould ripened soft cheese, NatuStella-Cheddar. Besides cheeses also other direct sale products from the nearby farms are sold: groceries (among other things jams and grits) and handicrafts.
